Iโve made countless errors over my years of training - simply doing the wrong thing, or worse, having no idea whatโs โrightโ.
You may be in a similar position right now. You donโt have to be.
I tried for years - jumping from one hot new approach to the next...having no idea how to select exercises, or execute with correct form, how to direct meaningful effort, how and when to progress...and on, and on. While โone sizeโ wonโt necessarily fit all, thereโs something to be said for programs developed based on sound principles with reasonable progressions. Now thatโs something I would loved to have had many years ago. This idea led me to begin developing goal-specific programs.
For now, Iโve developed a hugely challenging regimen for coercing muscle growth - if only for a starting 3-month period - in the โMuscle Hypertrophy Training Programโ based on a variety of my experiences in the gym. Check it out.

There are daily tidbits and glimpses into how I view my past experiences and how they assimilate and have new meaning each day.
The list of things I wish I knew 15 years ago is lengthy, but vastly more significant is the knowledge Iโve gained along the way, and the firsthand experience that has brought me to the point now where Iโm galvanized to share and to enhance your fitness journey.
My mistakes have produced no regrets. Iโm approaching 40 and in the best shape of my life! I truly believe that you too can share in this feeling of success!
What does fitness mean to you? For me, my โwhyโ begins with my roots in Jamaica and the early years of lifting at the end of high-school and early university as an outlet for the stresses of university life. This continued through 6 years of doctoral research (PhD cell and molecular biology), and early working life.
If your objective in the gym is to combat stress - you could hardly have picked better! Why not use that time and effort to sculpt the physique of your choosing?
What I truly needed 15 years ago, was a plan. A solid goal, and a plan that fit my goals and life! This is where I am now - I have realistic, relevant, and measurable goals which are supported by solid plans that I execute for progressing month-over-month! It wonโt be easy, but the effort, resilience, or results are yours forever. They can never be taken from you. Invest in yourself. Be proud. The journey is entirely worth it! The mistakes youโve made - theyโre part of it. The path that led you to reading these words - thatโs are part of it too.
This is YOUR journey - you own it. It will be different from mine, and different from everyone elseโs around you. Thatโs ok. In fact, itโs perfect! Embrace it, thatโs the way itโs meant to be.
