Focus, setup, lift heavy, execute, grow
How better to spend a few hours than hanging out in the midst of nature, enjoying the sun and surf while showing the hard-earned results of hours of dedicated lifting and appropriate programming and execution?
Often neglected, training the medial delts is critical to developing well-rounded shoulders. Donโt ignore these small muscles. Train them hard, target them specifically, endure the burn and youโll be rewarded!
Relax and enjoy the results of your hard work training in the gym. Walk along the beach, soak up the sun!
The dumbbell row is a key exercise for full back development; targeting the lats, and muscles of the upper and mid back, when executed appropriately, including this in your training can enhance the quest for increased back width and thickness
The ocean is as mesmerizing as it is powerful. Enjoy a walk out on the beach. Soak up the sun. Feel the ocean breeze. Show the cuts and definition youโve earned in the gym!
Perhaps the most common exercise by far, this staple of chest training, if done correctly and suited to your body can help to increase those - but keep strict form and know your limitations in weight and range of motion - be safe!

One of the most popular exercises of guys in gyms everywhere, the dumbbell bicep curl is a staple of any arm training regimen. Just remember to focus on the bicep, contract fully, control throughout and donโt let gravity do the work in the way down!
Ensure you listen to your body. Change it up when necessary to maximize gains. Lift hard, lift smart, lift heavy.
Maximize range of motion, contract hard, lock your shoulders in place and focus on execution to build those triceps!
Get out into nature; enjoy the ocean. Show the results of your dedication in the gym.

Iโve made countless errors over my years of training - simply doing the wrong thing, or worse, having no idea whatโs โrightโ.
You may be in a similar position right now. You donโt have to be.
I tried for years - jumping from one hot new approach to the next...having no idea how to select exercises, or execute with correct form, how to direct meaningful effort, how and when to progress...and on, and on. While โone sizeโ wonโt necessarily fit all, thereโs something to be said for programs developed based on sound principles with reasonable progressions. Now thatโs something I would loved to have had many years ago. This idea led me to begin developing goal-specific programs.
For now, Iโve developed a hugely challenging regimen for coercing muscle growth - if only for a starting 3-month period - in the โMuscle Hypertrophy Training Programโ based on a variety of my experiences in the gym. Check it out.
Relatively new to the vast world of social media, Iโm documenting the continuation of my journey on Instagram - Iโd love to share this with you - check out my page, leave a comment and follow along. There are daily tidbits and glimpses into how I view my past experiences and how they assimilate and have new meaning each day.
The list of things I wish I knew 15 years ago is lengthy, but vastly more significant is the knowledge Iโve gained along the way, and the firsthand experience that has brought me to the point now where Iโm galvanized to share and to enhance your fitness journey.
My mistakes have produced no regrets. Iโm approaching 40 and in the best shape of my life! I truly believe that you too can share in this feeling of success!
What does fitness mean to you? For me, my โwhyโ begins with my roots in Jamaica and the early years of lifting at the end of high-school and early university as an outlet for the stresses of university life. This continued through 6 years of doctoral research (PhD cell and molecular biology), and early working life.
If your objective in the gym is to combat stress - you could hardly have picked better! Why not use that time and effort to sculpt the physique of your choosing?
What I truly needed 15 years ago, was a plan. A solid goal, and a plan that fit my goals and life! This is where I am now - I have realistic, relevant, and measurable goals which are supported by solid plans that I execute for progressing month-over-month! If youโve worked with a trainer or coach in the past whoโs let you down, I understand. Itโs a two-way street and the fit was simply not right for the both of you for whatever reasons.
As a coach, I recognize the power of understanding and learning. The more I can learn about you, the better I can equipped I will be to enhance your fitness journey and share in your success.
It wonโt be easy, but the effort, resilience, or results are yours forever. They can never be taken from you. Invest in yourself. Be proud. The journey is entirely worth it! The mistakes youโve made - theyโre part of it. The path that led you to reading these words - thatโs are part of it too.
This is YOUR journey - you own it. It will be different from mine, and different from everyone elseโs around you. Thatโs ok. In fact, itโs perfect! Embrace it, thatโs the way itโs meant to be.
